Coast started with a question we couldn't shake: what does it look like when two people find each other again after going quiet?

Matt and Elsie reconnect at a strange moment, both cut off from the person who matters most to them. The film follows what happens when you let someone see you again after that long a silence.

We crowdfunded it, made it with friends and hit the road with a tiny crew. We wanted room for the actors to just exist as these people, and some of our best scenes came from getting lost or from a line nobody scripted.
